The first travel talk of the year we had visitors all the way from Macedonia, and Maja was telling us about the fascinating hiking trips they arrange in the Balkan countries. Hiking the Balkans is a small start-up business run by Maja and her cousin Lea, and they are working hard to build up a sustainable tour company built on respect for nature and an attitude of giving back to the local communities.

We are also happy that we had more attendees than ever before on the event – more than 20 people attended Travel Talk this evening. We are so happy that several of you keep coming back!
